Overview:
Objective is to familiarize students with Greek and Latin roots of English words, to increase vocabulary, and enhance word analysis skills.
Lesson Plan:
Attached are lesson plans and a list of names of Greek and Roman gods and their meanings. Students work in pairs, with index cards with god name on front, definition on back. They can switch cards with other pairs when they are done, in order to come up with as many words as they can.

Under 30 minutes
